How to Remove Front and Rear Bumper VW Golf Sportsvan

-open the hood.
-under the hood, unscrew two screws and remove the radiator grille towards you (the bottom is held on by latches).
-from the bottom side, unscrew eight screws (screwed from the bottom up).
-turn the wheels to the side.
-in the wheel arches, unscrew three screws on each side, which secure the fender liners (front part).
-unscrew one screw on each side (screwed from the bottom up), which secure the corners of the bumper to the fenders.
-release the latches in the fenders (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).
-release the latches in the opening between the headlights.

-with an assistant, pull the bumper forward (watch the wires and hoses).
-release the electrical equipment connectors.
-disconnect the headlight washer hoses (if any, fluid may leak).

Rear bumper





-open the trunk lid.
-release the side trims of the trunk (open the plugs if there are any).
-unscrew the plastic nuts behind the trims and remove the taillights.
-unscrew the screws in the wheel arches that secure the fender liners (rear part).
-unscrew one screw on each side (screwed from the bottom up), which secure the corners of the bumper to the fenders.
-unscrew the screws that secure the bottom of the bumper (screwed from the bottom up).
- release the latches in the wings (pull the corners towards you).

- release the latches under the rear lights and in the trunk opening.
- with an assistant, pull the bumper back (look for the wires).
- disconnect the electrical equipment connectors.
