How to remove front and rear bumper SEAT Ibiza MK2 (1993-2002)

Depending on the year of manufacture and model variant, the mounting locations differ.

-unscrew the four screws under the hood.
-remove the upper trims and lower plugs (you need to carefully pry the edge with a screwdriver and tear it off the latches).
-unscrew the screws under the trims and plugs.
-unscrew the three screws at the bottom of the bumper (screwed from the bottom up).

-turn the wheels to the left or right side, depending on which side we will disassemble first.
- in the wheel arches, unscrew the screws that secure the mudguards.

- with an assistant, pull the bumper off the guides towards you.
- remove the connector from the parking sensors (if any).
- remove the connector from the fog lights.

Rear bumper

Depending on the year of manufacture and model variant, the mounting locations differ.
- open the trunk lid and unscrew the screws in the opening.
- unscrew the screws in the wheel arches that secure the mudguards (it is more convenient to unscrew with a ratchet and a socket so as not to remove the wheels).
- move the mudguards to the side and unscrew one screw on each side (screwed from the bottom up) (may not be).
- unscrew the screws around the perimeter at the bottom (screwed from the bottom up).

- with an assistant, pull the bumper off the guides towards you.
- remove the connector from the license plate light.
- remove the connector from the parking sensors (if any).
