How to Remove Front and Rear Bumper Toyota FJ Cruiser


-Unscrew the screws under the hood, pull out the clips and remove the radiator grille.
-Unscrew the five screws under the radiator grille (screwed from top to bottom).
-Unscrew the screws along the perimeter of the lower part (screwed from bottom to top).
-Turn the wheels to the left or right side, depending on which side we will disassemble first.

-Unscrew the screws in the wheel arches.
-with an assistant, release the corners from the latches in the wings and remove the bumper from the guides towards you.
-remove the connector from the fog lights (if any).
-remove the connector from the parking sensors (if any).

-if there are headlight washers, disconnect the hoses (to prevent the liquid from leaking onto the ground, you should prepare a special container).

Rear bumper





-open the trunk lid and unscrew the screws in the opening (screwed from the bottom up).
-unscrew the screws around the perimeter in the lower part (screwed from the bottom up).
-pull out the pins in the wheel arches that secure the fender liners.
-with an assistant, release the bumper from the latches in the fenders and under the taillights.

- pull it off the guides towards you.
- remove the connector from the parking sensor (if any).
- remove the connectors from the additional equipment (if any).
