How to remove front and rear bumper bumper Toyota Prius


-open the hood and remove the trim above the radiator (fastened with latches).
-under the trim, unscrew the screws and pull out the clips (screwed and inserted from top to bottom), which secure the upper part of the bumper.
-along the perimeter of the lower part, unscrew the screws and pull out the pins (screwed and inserted from bottom to top).

-turn the wheels to the left or right side, depending on which side we will disassemble first.
- in the wheel arches, we pull out the clips and unscrew the screws that secure the fender liners to the bumper.
- with an assistant, release the corners from the latches in the fenders and remove the bumper from the guides towards ourselves.
- remove the connector from the fog lights (if any).
- remove the connector from the parking sensors (if any).
- if there are headlight washers, disconnect the hoses (to prevent the liquid from leaking onto the ground, you should prepare a special container).

Rear bumper





- open the trunk lid and pull out the plugs in the opening in the corners.
- unscrew the screws under the plugs.
- in the wheel arches, unscrew the screws and pull out the pins that secure the mudguards (in order not to remove the wheels, it is more convenient to unscrew with a ratchet with a nozzle).

- move the mudguards to the side and unscrew one screw on each side in the corners (if any).
- along the perimeter in the lower part, unscrew the screws and pull out the pins (screwed and inserted from the bottom up).

- with an assistant, release the bumper from the latches in the fenders, under the taillights and in the trunk opening.

- pull it off the guides towards you.
- remove the connector from the parking sensors (if any).
