How to remove the front and rear bumper Renault Fluence

Depending on the year of manufacture, the mounting locations differ slightly.
Front bumper
- open the hood.
- unscrew the eight screws under the hood (screwed from top to bottom) that secure the upper part.
- unscrew the seven screws from the bottom (screwed from bottom to top) that secure the lower part of the bumper.
- depending on which side we are disassembling, turn out the wheels.
- unscrew the screws in the wheel arches and release the fender liners (front part).

-Unscrew one screw on each side behind the fenders (screwed from top to bottom), which secure the corners of the bumper to the fenders.
-Release the latches in the fenders (pull the corners towards you).
-Pull the bumper forward (be careful not to tear the wires).
-Remove the fog light connectors on the left side (if any).

Rear bumper





-open the trunk lid.
-unscrew two screws on each side and pull out the taillights.
-under the lights, pull out one piston on each side.
-unscrew eight screws (screwed from the bottom up), which secure the lower part.
-in the wheel arches, unscrew the screws, release the fender liners (no need to remove).
-move the fender liners to the side and unscrew one screw on each side behind them, which secure the corners of the bumper.

-release the latches in the fenders (pull the corners towards you) and under the rear lights.
-with an assistant, pull the bumper back (look for the wires).
-disconnect the electrical equipment connectors (if any).
