How to remove the front and rear bumper of a Skoda Rapid

Depending on the year of manufacture and model variant, the mounting locations may vary slightly.

-open the hood, unscrew the two screws and take out the two pistons (twisted from top to bottom).
-near the fog lights, remove the decorative grilles (attached with latches).
-under the grilles, Unscrew one screw on each side.
-Unscrew the screws around the perimeter at the bottom of the bumper (twisted from bottom to top).
-we unscrew the wheels to the left or right, depending on which side you will disassemble.
-in the wheel arches, Unscrew the screws that secure the fender liners.
-move the fender liners to the side and Unscrew three screws on each side (twisted from bottom to top) that secure the corners to the wings.

-with an assistant, we tear off the latches in the wings and under the headlights and pull the bumper onto ourselves.
-remove the connector from the parking sensors (if equipped).
-if there are fog lights, remove the connector.
- if there are headlight washers, disconnect the hose and plug it with a plug so that liquid does not leak out of the reservoir.

Rear bumper

Depending on the year of manufacture and model variant, the mounting locations may vary slightly.
-in the trunk, in the side trims, open the lids.
-under the covers, unscrew the screws, disconnect the connectors and remove the rear lights.
-Unscrew the screws along the perimeter at the bottom (twisted from bottom to top).
-unscrew the screws in the wheel arches (in order not to remove the wheels, it is more convenient to unscrew them with a ratchet with an attachment).
-move the fender liners to the side and Unscrew one screw on each side in the corners (twisted from bottom to top).

-release the latches in the wings and under the rear lights.
-with an assistant, pull the bumper off the guides towards you.
-remove the connector from the parking sensors (if equipped).
