How to remove front and rear bumper Subaru XV crosstrek

-open the hood.
-under the hood we take out the pistons that secure the upper part of the bumper.
-take out the pistons and unscrew the screws (inserted and twisted from bottom to top) along the perimeter of the lower part.

-turn the wheels depending on which side we will disassemble.
-in the wheel arches we take out the pistons that secure the fender liners and bumper corners to the wings.

-bend the lower part of the fender liner on both sides and remove the connectors from the fog lights.

-with an assistant, release the latches in the wings and under the headlights and carefully pull the bumper forward (be careful not to break the wires).
-remove the connectors from the electrical equipment (if any).

Rear bumper

-open the back door (trunk lid).
-remove the rear lights (in the 4-door version, unscrew four nuts on each side behind the trim) (in the 5-door version, unscrew two screws in the trunk opening)

- along the perimeter of the lower part we take out the caps (inserted from the bottom up).
-in the wheel arches we take out the pistons that secure the fender liners and bumper corners to the wings.

-with an assistant, carefully release the latches in the wings and under the rear lights.
-pull the bumper back.

- disconnect the connectors of the electrical equipment (if any).
