How to remove the front and rear bumper of Subaru Legacy (Outback) (2009-2014) BM, BR

-open the hood.
-under the hood we take out the pins that secure the radiator grille and the upper part of the bumper.
-from both sides of the lower part we take out the pistons (inserted from bottom to top) and release the lower part of the fender liner.
-in the resulting opening, remove the connectors from the fog lights (if any)

-turn the wheels depending on which side we will disassemble.
-in the wheel arches we release the fender liners.
-Unscrew one screw on each side (twisted from bottom to top) that secure the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-take out the caps (inserted from bottom to top) along the perimeter of the lower part.
-with an assistant, release the latches in the wings and under the headlights and carefully pull the bumper forward.

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid (rear door).

Sedan:

-from the trunk, behind the trim, unscrew the nuts that secure the rear lights.

Universal:

-in the trunk opening, Unscrew two screws on each side that secure the rear lights.
-remove the rear lights.

- along the perimeter of the lower part we take out the caps (inserted from the bottom up).
-in the wheel arches we release the fender liners.
-behind the wheel arch liners we take out the caps that secure the corners of the bumper to the wings.

- with an assistant, carefully release the latches in the wings and under the rear lights.
-pull the bumper back.
- disconnect the connectors of the electrical equipment (if any).
