How to remove the front and rear bumper of VW Tiguan II (2016)

Depending on the year of manufacture and body type, the attachment points may vary slightly.
-open the hood.
-under the hood, Unscrew the four screws that secure the radiator grille (the grille does not need to be removed).
-from the bottom side, unscrew the twelve screws (twisted from bottom to top).
-turn the wheels to the side.
-in the wheel arches, Unscrew the screws that secure the fender liners.
-we release the fender linings from the bumper (they are held on by latches, we pull them towards ourselves).
-in the wheel arches, unscrew the screws that secure the sides of the bumper to the wings (twisted from bottom to top).
-release the latches in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-release the latches under the headlights.
-we release the latches behind the radiator grille (indicated by blue arrows, you need to press them with a long screwdriver from top to bottom).
-with an assistant, pull the bumper forward (watch the wires and hoses).
-we release the connectors of the electrical equipment (if any).
-disconnect the headlight washer hoses (if any, liquid may leak).

Rear bumper





-open the trunk lid.
-remove the plugs in the side trims of the trunk.
-behind the plugs, unscrew the plastic nuts and remove the rear lights.
-along the perimeter of the lower part of the bumper, unscrew the screws and take out the caps (twisted and inserted from the bottom up).
-in the wheel arches, unscrew the screws that secure the fender liners (rear part).
-we release the fender linings from the bumper (they are held on by latches, we pull them towards ourselves).
-Unscrew the screws that secure the corners of the bumper to the wings.
-release the latches in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-release the latches under the rear lights.
-with an assistant, pull the bumper back (watch the wires).
- disconnect the connectors of the electrical equipment (if any).
