How to remove the front and rear bumper of a VW Up!

-open the hood.
-under the hood, unscrew the three screws that secure the top of the bumper.
-from the bottom, pull out six pins that secure the bottom of the bumper.
-turn the wheels to the side.
-in the wheel arches, unscrew two screws on each side that secure the fender liners (front part).

-Unscrew one screw on each side behind the fenders (screwed from bottom to top), which secure the corners of the bumper to the fenders.
-Release the latches in the fenders (pull the corners towards you).
-Release the latches under the hood.
-With an assistant, pull the bumper forward (look for the wires).
-Release the electrical equipment connectors (if any).

Rear bumper





-open the trunk lid.
-unscrew the four screws in the trunk opening.
-unscrew the nuts behind the side trim of the trunk and remove the taillights.
-pull out four pins from the bottom.
-unscrew the screws in the wheel arches (pull out the pins) that secure the fender liners (rear part).

-Unscrew one screw on each side behind the fender liners that secure the corners of the bumper to the fenders.
-Release the latches in the fenders (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-Release the latches under the taillights.
-With an assistant, pull the bumper back (watch the wires).
