How to Remove Front and Rear Bumper Saturn Ion

-open the hood.
-under the hood, take out the four pins that secure the upper part.
-from the bottom, unscrew the screws and take out the pins that secure the lower part.
-turn the wheels to the side.
-in the wheel arches, take out the pins that secure the fender liners (front part).
-unscrew one screw on each side that secure the corners of the bumper to the fenders.

-release the latches in the fenders (pull the corners towards you).
-with an assistant, pull the bumper forward (look for wires and hoses).
-disconnect the electrical equipment connectors (if any).
-disconnect the headlight washer hoses (if any).

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.
- in the trunk opening, pull out four pistons.
- unscrew four screws from the bottom side.
- in the wheel arches, unscrew the screws that secure the fender liners and bumper corners.

- release the latches in the fenders (pull the corners towards you).
- with an assistant, carefully pull the bumper back (look for the wires).
- disconnect the electrical equipment connectors (if any).
