How to remove the front and rear bumper Subaru Forester SG (2002-2005)

-open the hood.
-pull out the pins, release them from the latches and remove the radiator grille and the "eyelashes" under the headlights.
-pull out the pins that secure the upper part.

-pull out the pins along the perimeter of the lower part and unscrew the screws (inserted and screwed from the bottom up).
-turn out the wheels depending on which side we are going to disassemble.

-in the wheel arches, pull out the pins and release the fender liners.
-behind the fender liners, pull out two pins on each side (inserted from bottom to top), which secure the corners of the bumper to the fenders.

-(if any) pull out the headlight washers, release them from the latches and remove the caps.
-with an assistant, carefully pull the bumper forward (be careful not to break the wires).

-remove the connectors from the electrical equipment (if any).

Rear bumper

-open the trunk door.
-in the trunk opening, unscrew two screws on each side and remove the taillights.
-pull out the pins under the taillights and in the trunk opening.

- we take out the pins that secure the lower part (inserted from the bottom up).
- in the wheel arches, we unscrew the screws that secure the mudguards and bumper corners to the fenders.

- with an assistant, carefully pull the bumper back.
- disconnect the electrical equipment connectors.
- to remove the bumper with the amplifier, unscrew the screws from the bottom side and four nuts from the trunk.
