How to Remove Front and Rear Bumper Toyota Sequoia (After 2008)


-open the hood.
-under the headlights, unscrew two screws on each side and remove the pads.
-pull out the pins that secure the upper part of the bumper (inserted from top to bottom).
-unscrew the screws along the perimeter of the lower part and pull out the pins (screwed and inserted from bottom to top).
-turn the wheels to the left or right side, depending on which side we will disassemble first.
-in the wheel arches, unscrew the screws that secure the fender liners and pads to the bumper.

-move the fender liners to the side and unscrew one screw on each side (screwed from the bottom up), which secure the corners to the fenders.
-with an assistant, release the corners from the latches in the fenders and remove the bumper from the guides towards you.
-remove the connector from the fog lights (if any).
-remove the connector from the parking sensors (if any).
-if there are headlight washers, disconnect the hoses (to prevent the liquid from leaking onto the ground, you should prepare a special container).

Rear bumper





-open the trunk lid and unscrew the screws in the opening.
-unscrew the screws in the wheel arches and take out the pins that secure the fender liners and mudguards to the bumper (in order not to remove the wheels, it is more convenient to unscrew with a ratchet with a nozzle).
-move the fender liners to the side and unscrew one screw on each side that secure the corners to the fenders (may not be present).

-unscrew the screws along the perimeter in the lower part and pull out the pins (screwed and inserted from the bottom up).
-with an assistant, release the bumper from the latches in the fenders and remove it towards you.

-remove the connector from the parking sensor (if any).
-remove the connectors from the additional equipment (if any).
