How to Remove Front and Rear Bumper Pontiac Bonneville (2000-2005)

-open the hood.
-under the hood, pull out five pins that secure the upper part.
-turn the wheels to the side.
-in the wheel arches, pull out three pins on each side that secure the fender liners (front part).
-move the fender liners to the side and unscrew one nut and one screw on each side that secure the bumper corners to the fenders.

-pull out the five pins that secure the lower part.
-with an assistant, pull off the bumper (look at the wires).
-disconnect the electrical equipment connectors (if any).

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.
-in the trunk, remove the rear and side trim.
- behind the side trims (on the inside of the fenders) we unscrew the nuts that secure the sides of the bumper.
- unscrew the nuts that secure the bumper to the rear panel (we pull out the pins in the trunk opening).
- unscrew the screws from the bottom side.
- in the wheel arches we pull out the pins that secure the fender liners.

- behind the fender liners we unscrew the nuts that secure the corners of the bumper to the fenders.
- with an assistant we carefully pull off the bumper (look for the wires).
- disconnect the license plate light connectors.
