How to remove the front and rear bumper of a Chevrolet Monte Carlo

How to remove the front and rear bumper of a Chevrolet Monte Carlo


-open the hood.
-under the hood, pull out the pins that secure the upper part.
-turn the wheels to the left or right side, depending on which side we will disassemble first.
-free the fender liners in the wheel arches.
-behind the fender liners, unscrew two nuts on each side (screwed from the bottom up), which secure the corners of the bumper to the fenders.

-pull out the pins (inserted from bottom to top) that secure the lower part.
-pull the bumper forward (be careful not to tear the wires).
-remove the connectors from the electrical equipment (if any).

Rear bumper




-open the trunk lid.
-release the side trim in the trunk.
- unscrew the bolts behind the fender trims.
- pull out the pins in the trunk opening that secure the upper part.
- pull out the pins in the lower part (inserted from the bottom up).
- release the fender liners in the wheel arches.

- unscrew one screw on each side (screwed from the bottom up), which secure the corners to the fenders.
- remove the bumper back (be careful not to tear the wires).
- remove the connectors from the electrical equipment (if any).
