How to remove front and rear bumper Volvo 740-960

The bumper is removed together with the amplifier and shock absorbers. From the engine compartment, you need to unscrew four bolts and two nuts that secure the shock absorbers to the side members. Then we pull everything out forward as a whole.

You can also unscrew the shock absorbers from the amplifier, but the mounting nuts usually get very stuck.





Just like the front, the rear bumper is removed together with the shock absorbers and amplifier. Depending on the type of body, we unscrew four screws and two nuts from the trunk or from the bottom side that secure the shock absorbers to the side members. We pull everything back together.
