How to remove front and rear bumper BMW 3-series E46

-Unscrew the wheels left or right, depending on which side you will unscrew first, and in the wheel arches, Unscrew the screws that attach the fender liner to the bumper.
-at the bottom in the middle, Unscrew the bolt (arrowed).
-in the openings for the fog lights, through the special holes, Unscrew one bolt on each side that attach the bumper amplifier to the shock absorbers (spun up).
-pull the edges of the bumper towards you and pull it off the guides (it's more convenient to do this with an assistant).

-remove the connectors from the fog lights (if any).
- bumper removed.




-at the very bottom of the bumper, Unscrew the screws (behind the wheel arches and in the middle).
-through the special holes in the bumper (in the lower part at the level of the rear lights) Unscrew one bolt on each side under the inner sprocket (spun up). In some models, access to these bolts is blocked by a molding that will need to be removed.
-then with an assistant in the wheel arches, we pull the corners of the bumper and pull it off the rails.

-remove the connector from the parking sensors (if any).
- bumper removed.
