Depending on the year of manufacture and model variant, the mounting locations differ slightly.
-unscrew the four screws under the hood (if there are any, pull out the pins).
-unscrew the two screws at the edges of the central lower decorative grille (until 2006, the screws are located under the side decorative grilles).
-unscrew the screws along the perimeter at the bottom of the bumper (screwed from bottom to top).
-turn the wheels to the left or right side, depending on which side we will disassemble first.
-in the wheel arches, unscrew the screws that secure the fender liners.
-move the fender liners to the side and unscrew one screw on each side (if any).
-with an assistant, pull the edges of the bumper to the sides, tearing them off the latches, and pull them off the guides towards you.
-remove the connector from the parking sensors (if any).
-if there are headlight washers, disconnect the hoses. To prevent the liquid from leaking out, you need to prepare a plug or container in advance.
- remove the connector from the fog lights.
Rear bumper
- open the trunk lid and remove the hatches in the side trims (you need to get access to the back of the taillights).
- unscrew the nuts under the hatches and remove the taillights.
- unscrew the screws under the taillights (screwed from top to bottom).
- unscrew the screws in the wheel arches that secure the mudguards (in order not to remove the wheels, it is more convenient to unscrew with a ratchet with a nozzle).
-move the mudguards to the side and unscrew one
SEAT Ibiza MK3 rear bumper mounting diagram (2002-2008) screw on each side (may not be there).
-unscrew the screws around the perimeter at the bottom (screwed from bottom to top).
-with an assistant, pull the bumper off the guides towards you.
-remove the connector from the license plate light.
-remove the connector from the parking sensors (if any).
