How to remove the front and rear bumper Skoda Octavia 1 (1996-2010)

Depending on the year of manufacture and model variant, the mounting locations may differ slightly.

- open the hood and unscrew the three screws in the opening between the headlights.
- unscrew the screws and remove the headlights.
- unscrew the screws under the headlights.
- unscrew the wheels to the left or right, depending on which side you will disassemble.
- in the wheel arches, unscrew the screws that secure the fender liners.
- remove the trim (fastened with latches) and unscrew two screws on each side.
- remove the side decorative grilles and unscrew the screws under them.

-remove the bumper moving forward.
-remove the connector from the temperature sensor (if any).
-if there are fog lights, remove the connector.
-if there are headlight washers, disconnect the hose and plug it with a plug so that liquid does not leak out of the tank.

Rear bumper

Depending on the year of manufacture and model variant, the mounting locations may differ slightly.

-open the trunk lid and remove the trim.
-under the trim are the screws for fastening the bumper and trims under the taillights.
-remove the trims under the taillights by moving towards the middle of the trunk.
-in the trunk, remove the side trims and unscrew two screws on each side of the fenders.

-unscrew the screws in the wheel arches (in order not to remove the wheels, it is more convenient to unscrew with a ratchet with a nozzle).
-with an assistant, pull the bumper off the guides towards you.
-remove the connector from the parking sensors (if any).
