Depending on the year of manufacture, the mounting locations differ.
Front bumper
The bumper is removed without the radiator grille (depending on the year of manufacture).
- from the bottom side, unscrew the screws (screwed from the bottom up), which secure the bottom of the bumper.
- depending on which side we are going to disassemble, turn out the wheels.
- in the wheel arches, release the fender liners.
- behind the fenders, unscrew the screws that secure the bumper corners.
- pull the bumper forward from the guides in the fenders (be careful not to tear the wires).
- remove the fog light connectors on the left side (if any).
Rear bumper
- open the trunk lid.
- (depending on the year) remove the taillights and pull out the pins underneath them.
- pull out the pins in the trunk opening.
- unscrew the screws (screwed from the bottom up) that secure the lower part.
-we release the fender liners in the wheel arches.
-we move the fender liners to the side and unscrew the screws behind them.
-we pull the bumper back from the guides in the fenders (we look at the wires).
-we disconnect the electrical equipment connectors (if any).
