How to remove front and rear bumper Volvo S60, XC60, XC70 (after 2010)


-open the hood.
-under the hood, remove the trim (if any).
-take out nine caps (inserted from top to bottom) that secure the top.
-turn the wheels to the side.
-wheel arches take out five caps (maybe screws) on each side and one screw that attach the corners to the wings.
-at the bottom, take out the three pistons (inserted from the bottom up).

-with an assistant, carefully release the latches in the wings (pull the corners towards you) and under the headlights.

Volvo S60, XC60, XC70 front bumper attachment scheme (after 2010) - pull the bumper forward (be careful not to break the wires and hoses).

-remove connectors from electrical equipment (if any).

-(if any) disconnect the washer hoses (liquid may leak).


Rear bumper





-Open the trunk lid.
-( XC60, XC70) Unscrew two screws in the trunk opening.

-wheel arches take out five caps on each side.
-Unscrew the two screws that secure the central lower part.

-with an assistant, carefully release the latches in the wings (pull the corners towards you) and under the rear lights.
-pulls the bumper back (be careful not to break the wires).
-disconnect electrical connectors (if any).
