The bumper is removed along with the grille.
Depending on the year of manufacture and type of model, the attachment points differ slightly.
-under the hood take out six caps (inserted from top to bottom) and remove the cover over the grille.
-under the cover, Unscrew one screw on each side, near the headlights (spun down) that secure the upper part of the bumper.
-Unscrew the screws and around the perimeter at the bottom (spun up).
-turn the wheels to the left or right side, depending on which side we will disassemble first.
-in the wheel wells, Unscrew the screws that secure the fender liner.
-with an assistant, tear off the corners from the latches in the wings and pull the bumper from the rails towards you.
- if there are headlight washers, disconnect the hoses from the nozzles. To prevent liquid from leaking to the ground, you need to prepare a suitable container or plug.
-remove the connector from the parking sensors.
-remove the connector from the fog lights (if any).
-remove connectors from additional electrical equipment (if any, depending on the configuration of the car).
Rear bumper
-in the trunk, move up, remove the rear panel trim (sits very tightly).
-under the skin, in the corners, unscrew two nuts on each side (you will need a head with a ratchet).
-Unscrew the screws in the wheel arches that secure the fender liner (in order not to remove the wheels it is more convenient to unscrew with a ratchet with a nozzle).
-Unscrew the screws around the perimeter at the bottom (spun up).
-take out one piston on each side under the rear lights (may not be).
-with an assistant, we release the bumper from the latches in the wings and pull it from the guides towards ourselves.
-if you have parking sensors, remove the connector (located under the trim in the trunk).
-remove connectors from additional electrical equipment (depending on the configuration of the car).
