How to remove front and rear bumper BMW X3 (E83)

-if there are headlight washers, take out the nozzles and remove the covers.
-open the hood.
- under the hood, unscrew the four screws (spun down) and remove the trim.
-under the trim, Unscrew the four screws (spun down) that secure the top.
-remove the decorative trims in the opening of the fog lights.
-Unscrew the screws behind the pads.


-Unscrew the screws around the perimeter at the bottom.
-turn the wheels left or right, depending on which side you will disassemble.
-in the wheel wells, Unscrew the screws and release the fender liner.
-take the fender liner to the side and unscrew the screws (spun up) that secure the corners to the wings.
-with an assistant, release the bumper from the latches and pull it towards you.
-remove the connector from the fog lights (if any).
-remove the connector from the parking sensors (if any).





-open the trunk lid and remove the plastic lining in the corners of the opening (they are held on by latches).
-for the overlays, Unscrew one screw on each side (spun down).
-in the wheel arches, Unscrew two screws on each side and release the fender liner (in order not to remove the wheels it is more convenient to turn with a ratchet with a nozzle).
-take the fender liner to the side and Unscrew one screw on each side (spun up) that attach the corners to the wings and two screws securing the bumper to the brackets.

-at the bottom, Unscrew the two screws and behind the petticoat, in the corners, two plastic nuts.
- with an assistant, we release the latches in the wings (pull the corners to the sides) and pull the bumper towards ourselves.
-remove the connector from the parking sensors (if any).
