How to remove the front and rear bumper of a VW Sharan (before 2000)

-we unscrew the wheels to the left or right, depending on which side you will disassemble.
-Unscrew the screws in the wheel arches.
-remove the license plate with frame.
-Unscrew the two screws under the license plate.
-with an assistant, pull the bumper forward from the guides.

-now you can disconnect the connectors from the fog lights (if any).
-remove the connector from the parking sensors (if equipped).

Rear bumper

The bumper is removed along with the amplifier.
-Unscrew the screws in the wheel arches (in order not to remove the wheels, it is more convenient to unscrew them with a ratchet with an attachment).
-under the car, unscrew the nuts that secure the amplifier to the side members.

-with an assistant, pull the bumper back from the guides.
-remove the connector from the parking sensors (if equipped).
