VAG MED9.x ECU firmware package

We didn't set out to extract maximum power and torque. However, it should be noted that with turbocharged engines, the increase in these parameters can be up to 20 percent! The main idea behind the changes is to improve elasticity, eliminate the dips and jerks typical of many software versions, and smooth out the so-called "turbo lag" characteristic of all engines with turbochargers. Judging by the results of test drives, these objectives were successfully achieved.

Furthermore, in Euro-2 versions, the following are completely disabled: DK2, catalytic converter monitoring, NOx sensors, and the EGR valve.
In other words, these sensors are disabled specifically in the configuration table and can be completely removed from the system!
Regarding the EGR valve, it turns out that the electronic, ECU-controlled valve is present on only a couple of engines
and, accordingly, software versions; in other cases, recirculation is carried out purely mechanically.

The Ru&Eu versions are designed for use in regions with moderate climates and high-quality fuel with an octane rating of at least 95.
The Me&UA versions are intended for use in regions with hot climates and lower-quality fuel with an octane rating of 92-95.

For larger engines (4.2FSI, 5.2FSI, 5.0TFSI), all versions are provided in ONLY one copy - MOD.As experience has shown, these engines are very sensitive to fuel quality in general, so ignition timing and their adjustments are minimally affected.

Please note: It should be noted that VAG itself recommends fuel with an octane rating of at least 95 for most engines on the list,
in some cases 98. Using low-quality fuel in TFSI engines can lead to rapid failure, with a very high probability, even with stock engines! Be careful!
