The Ru&Eu versions are designed for use in regions with moderate climates and high-quality fuel with an octane rating of at least 95. The Me&UA versions are designed for use in regions with hot climates and lower-quality fuel with an octane rating of 92-95.

For larger engines (4.2FSI, 5.2FSI, 5.0TFSI), all versions are provided in only one version – the MOD. As experience has shown, these engines are very sensitive to fuel quality in general, so ignition timing and adjustments are minimally affected.

Please note: It should be noted that VAG itself recommends fuel with an octane rating of at least 95 for most engines on the list, and in some cases, 98. Using low-quality fuel in TFSI engines can lead to rapid failure, with a very high probability, even with stock fuel! Be careful!
