Toyota Tundra 2000-2003 FSM repair manual

Description: Introduced in May 1999 as a 2000 model, originally known as the T150s. However, Ford felt that the name was very similar to that of the segment leader Ford F-150. The lawsuit that followed forced Toyota to rename the car the Tundra (Toyota never claimed it was going to use the T150 name in production).

Add. Information: For the Tundra, a 24-valve 3.4 liter V6 engine with 190 hp was offered. (140 kW) with a torque of 298 Nm and a 32-valve 4.7 liter V8 engine with 245 hp. (183 kW) with a torque of 427 Nm.
In 2005, new engines began to be installed: a 4.0 liter V6 with a capacity of 236 hp. (176 kW) with a torque of 361 Nm, and the existing 4.7 liter V8 engine was updated using Toyota's variable valve timing VVT-i, after which its power increased to 271 hp. (202 kW) with a torque of 424 Nm. The 5-speed manual has been replaced by a 6-speed manual, and the 5-speed automatic has been replaced by a 6-speed.
