Description: Programs for diagnostics and reprogramming of electronic control units for BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce cars.

Installing Rheingold:
Unpack, for example in D: \ Rheingold, unpack and copy SQLiteDBs to Rheingold \ SQLiteDBs \, run RCleanerV4.2.exe from the Tools folder.
Apply ISTA-D Reg Fix for your system bitness from the Tools folder.
Run D: \ Rheingold \ TesterGUI \ bin \ Release \ ISTAGUI.exe.
If asked for a license, enter it from the License.txt file. Enter the number 1 in the ISIS field, ignore the error.

Installing ISTA-P:
Install Networktool.exe. Setting up the Network tool in a text file in the Tools folder.
Unpack to the root of any disk, for example D: \ ISTA-P.
Run BMW ISTA-P Loader V4.4.exe from the Tools folder.

Install:
Ediabas, Java, vcredist 2010, vcredist 2013, vs90_piaredist, net framework 4.5.2 or higher.
If the system is x64, vcredist must be installed on both x86 and x64, otherwise rheingold will not start.
Performance tested on Win7 x64, Win8.1 x64 and Win10 x64.
For those who have AVAST antivirus installed, add the Rheigold folder to the exclusions from scanning, otherwise it may not start.
