On October 3, 2016, a completely new TecDoc 4Q2016 with a new interface was released. The full version takes 4 DVDs (26.3 GB). In the new TekDoc Q4 2016, the technical information has been completely removed (AudaCon DB). The developer promises a significant increase in the speed of the catalog.

The layout of the new TecDoc 4Q.2016 DVD version catalog is based on the new TecAlliance corporate identity. Features and functions are similar to the earlier TecDoc DVD.
