Ru&Eu versions are designed for use in regions with moderate climates and high-quality fuel with an octane rating (RON) of at least 95. Me&UA versions are designed for use in regions with hot climates and lower-quality fuel with an RON of 92-95.

Please note: It should be noted that VAG itself recommends fuel with an RON of at least 95, and in some cases 98, for most engines on the list. Using low-quality fuel in TFSI engines can lead to rapid failure, with a very high probability, even with stock fuel! Be careful!
