Description: The latest version of the ProScan 5.6 program for car diagnostics using the OBD-II protocol via an adapter on ELM32 # chips.
New in version 5.6:
- vehicle connection manager;
- tabular data recording;
- oxygen sensor test;
- diagnostic report generator.
Add. Information: The distribution contains: the program itself, the generator, instructions in English, a list of fault codes in English, specific fault codes for different manufacturers, installation instructions.
Installation order: install the program, connect the adapter (you can try without it), run the program, in the settings specify the com port on which your adapter is (you can leave it automatically), click at the bottom of the main window of the Connect program, the registration window should jump out, generate using keygen key, insert it and use it.
In order for ALL programs to accept the "Chinese" ELM 327 as a "native" one bought in America, it is enough to write the "SCANTOOL.NET" identifier in it. This is very easy to do, but WARNING! THIS CAN ONLY BE DONE ONCE, BE CAREFUL!. It is enough to connect the device to the computer, supply power to the OBD connector, and through the HyperTerminal program (or the ScanTooL program) get in touch with the ELM. When everything works, we send him the command:
at@3SCANTOOL.NET
exactly as written. If everything is correct, he will answer OK. You can check the result with the at@2 command - in response, it should issue SCANTOOL.NET
After this procedure, all programs begin to perceive the adapter as "native". This is easy to check, at least with ScanTool.net version 1.15, which already has protection against "left" adapters.
