m3scan v0.4a is a program for displaying, recording logs and visualizing parameters (PID) of a car, working with an ELM327-compatible scanner via OBD-II protocol, including the possibility of extended diagnostics (Enhanced PIDs) for Mazda3.
Using
The first step is to select your COM port number on the Options tab (you can see the number in the task manager) and the speed
(for a start, it is advisable to leave 38400), also by double-clicking the left mouse button in the leftmost column (Mode) of the lower table, you can add a parameter to the Loger tab.
To start polling on the Loger tab, press start. You can delete the polled parameters from the table by double-clicking the left mouse button in the leftmost column.
Accordingly, we stop recording logs (the logs folder in the same directory) by clicking on stop. Also, for clarity of some parameters, there are dash and plot modes.
To view log files, you can use the built-in viewer located on the Reserved tab. Click on the "Create Window" button to create a window (s), transfer up to 4 files to it. Check the Full time range checkbox to view the entire file, or uncheck the box to view it sequentially every 60 seconds, move the time period accordingly with the "" buttons.
