How to Remove Front and Rear Bumper on a Pontiac GTO

Front bumper
- open the hood.
- unscrew the three screws under the hood that secure the upper part.

- turn the wheels to the side.
- in the wheel arches, unscrew two screws on each side that secure the mudguards and bumper corners.

- with an assistant, pull the corners towards you and pull the bumper forward from the guides (watch the wires).
- remove the connector from the fog lights (if any).

-open the trunk lid.
-in the trunk opening, pull out four pins that secure the upper part.
- remove the trunk trim.

- unscrew two nuts from the trunk on each side under the taillights.
- unscrew the two screws and pull out the two pistons from the bottom side.

- unscrew the screws in the wheel arches that secure the mudguards and bumper corners.
- with an assistant, pull the corners towards you and pull the bumper back from the guides (watch the wires).
- remove the connectors from the electrical equipment (if any).
