How to Remove Front and Rear Bumper Pontiac G6

Front bumper
-open the hood.
-under the hood, take out the six pins that secure the upper part.
-turn the wheels to the left or right side, depending on which side we will disassemble first.
-in the wheel arches, unscrew four screws on each side that secure the fender liners (front part).
- move the fender liners to the side and unscrew one screw on each side (screwed from the bottom up), which secure the corners of the bumper to the fenders.

- pull out the pins from the bottom and unscrew the screws (screwed and inserted from the bottom up).
- with an assistant, release the latches in the fenders (pull the corners towards you).
- pull the bumper forward.
- remove the connector from the fog lights (if any).

-open the trunk lid.
-(sedan) unscrew two screws in the trunk opening.
-(coupe) unscrew the screws from the trunk in the wings.

-unscrew the screws and pull out the pins from the bottom side (screwed and inserted from the bottom up).
-pull out three pins (screws) on each side in the wheel arches and release the fender liners.
- (if any) behind the fenders, unscrew one screw on each side that secures the corners to the fenders.

- release the latches in the fenders (pull the corners towards you).
- with an assistant, pull the bumper back.
- remove the connectors from the electrical equipment.
