How to Remove Front and Rear Bumper Pontiac Firebird (1993-2002)

-open the hood.
-under the hood, pull out the pins that secure the upper part.
-raise the headlights and unscrew the screws.
-turn the wheels to the side.
- in the wheel arches, release the fender liners (front part).
- move the fender liners aside and unscrew the nuts and screws that secure the bumper corners to the fenders.
- pull out the pins that secure the lower part.
- with an assistant, pull off the bumper (look for wires).
- disconnect the electrical equipment connectors (if any).
Rear bumper
-open the trunk lid.
-remove the rear and side trims in the trunk.
-behind the side trims (on the inside of the fenders) unscrew the nuts that secure the sides of the bumper.
-unscrew the screws and pull out the pins from the bottom side.
-in the wheel arches, unscrew the screws that secure the fender liners.
-behind the fender liners, unscrew the nuts that secure the bumper corners to the fenders.
-with an assistant, carefully pull off the bumper (watch the wires).
-disconnect the electrical equipment connectors.
