How to remove front and rear bumper VW Lupo


-Under the hood, unscrew the two screws at the edges of the radiator grille.
-Use a flat-head screwdriver to release the edges of the decorative strip of the radiator grille (the places where it connects to the fenders).
-Press the latches at the bottom of the strip with a flat-head screwdriver and remove the radiator grille.
-Unscrew one screw on each side under the radiator grille (screwed in from top to bottom).
-Pull out the pins in the lower radiator grille (inserted from bottom to top) and unscrew one screw at the edges.
-Turn the wheels to the side depending on which side you will disassemble first.
-In the wheel arches, unscrew the screws that secure the fender liners.

-with an assistant, pull the bumper forward from the guides.
-with an assistant, pull the bumper forward from the guides.
-remove the connector from the parking sensors (if any).
-disconnect the headlight washer hoses (if any). To prevent fluid from leaking out of the reservoir, you will need to plug the hoses with plugs or bend them.
-remove the connector from the fog lights (if any).

Rear bumper





-open the trunk lid, unscrew one screw on each side in the opening that secure the taillights.
-remove the taillights by moving them to the side and towards you.
-under the taillights, unscrew one screw on each side (screwed from top to bottom).
-unscrew the screws in the wheel arches (in order not to remove the wheels, it is more convenient to unscrew them with a ratchet with a nozzle).

-unscrew the screws at the bottom of the bumper, VW LUPO rear bumper mounting diagram (screwed from bottom to top).
-with an assistant, pull the bumper back from the guides.
-remove the connectors from the license plate light.
-remove the connector from the parking sensors (if any).
