How to Remove Front and Rear Bumper Pontiac Grand Prix (2003-2009)

Front bumper
- open the hood.
- under the hood, take out the five pins that secure the upper part.
- turn the wheels to the side.
- in the wheel arches, unscrew the screws that secure the fender liners (front part).
- move the fender liners to the side and unscrew two screws on each side (screwed from the bottom up), which secure the corners of the bumper to the fenders.
- from the bottom side, pull out the pins and unscrew the screws that secure the lower part.
- with an assistant, pull the bumper forward (look at the wires).
- remove the connector from the fog lights (if any).
Rear bumper
- open the trunk lid.
- in the trunk opening, pull out four pins that secure the upper part.
- remove the trunk trim.
- unscrew the nuts and remove the taillights.
- from the trunk, unscrew the screws and nuts in the fenders and under the taillights.
- unscrew the screws from the bottom side.
- in the wheel arches, unscrew the screws that secure the fender liners.
- behind the fender liners, unscrew one screw on each side that secure the corners of the bumper to the fenders.
- with an assistant, pull the bumper back (watch the wires).
- remove the connectors from the electrical equipment.
