How to remove the front and rear bumper Skoda Octavia 2 (2004–2013)


Depending on the year of manufacture and model variant, the mounting locations may differ slightly.

-open the hood and unscrew the headlight mounting nuts.
-release the clips (in the corners of the headlights, near the radiator) and pull out the headlights forward.
-unscrew the screws under the headlights (screwed from top to bottom).
-unscrew the screws opposite the radiator (screwed from top to bottom).
-unscrew the wheels to the left or right, depending on which side you will disassemble.
-in the wheel arches, unscrew the screws that secure the fender liners.
-move the fender liners to the side and unscrew one screw on each side that secure the corners to the fenders.

-unscrew the screws and pull out the pins along the perimeter at the bottom of the bumper (screwed from the bottom up).
- remove the decorative plugs near the fog lights (fastened with latches).
- under the plugs, unscrew one screw on each side.
- remove the bumper from the guides with a forward movement.
- remove the connector from the parking sensors (if any).
- if there are fog lights, remove the connector.
- if there are headlight washers, disconnect the hose and plug it with a plug so that liquid does not leak out of the tank.

Rear bumper





Depending on the year of manufacture and model variant, the mounting locations may differ slightly.

- in the trunk, remove the side trims and unscrew the nuts that secure the taillights.
- remove the taillights.
- also behind the trims, unscrew the screws that secure the bumper to the fenders.
- remove the decorative trims under the taillights.
- unscrew two screws on each side under the trims.

-unscrew the screws in the wheel arches (in order not to remove the wheels, it is more convenient to unscrew with a ratchet with a nozzle).
-unscrew the screws along the perimeter at the bottom (screwed from the bottom up).
-with an assistant, pull the bumper off the guides towards you.
-remove the connector from the parking sensors (if any).
come back
