How to Remove Front and Rear Bumper Saab 9-5 (1997-2001)

-open the hood.
-release the latches under the hood and remove the radiator grille.
-remove the turn signals and unscrew the nuts behind them.
-unscrew the four screws that secure the bumper to the amplifier.
-unscrew the screws around the perimeter of the lower part (screwed from the bottom up), which secure the protection and fender liners.
-turn the wheels to the side.
- in the wheel arches, unscrew two screws on each side that secure the mudguards and bumper corners.
- release the clips in the wings.
- with an assistant, pull the bumper forward (look at the wires).
- disconnect the electrical equipment connectors (if any).
Rear bumper
- open the trunk lid.
- (5 doors) unscrew the screws and remove the bumper trim.
- unscrew the four nuts that secure the bumper reinforcement to the body.
- in the wheel arches, unscrew two screws on each side that secure the mudguards and bumper sides.
-release the clips in the wings.
-with an assistant, carefully pull the bumper back (watch the wires).
-disconnect the electrical equipment connectors (if any).
