How to remove front and rear bumper Toyota Avalon


Depending on the year of manufacture and the type of model, the mounting locations differ.
- open the hood, unscrew the screws and pull out the pins (screwed and inserted from top to bottom) that secure the bumper and radiator grille to the upper bar.
- unscrew the screws and along the perimeter at the bottom (screwed from bottom to top).
- turn the wheels to the left or right side, depending on which side we will disassemble first.

-in the wheel arches, unscrew the screws and pull out the pins that secure the fender liners.
-move the fender liners to the side and unscrew one screw on each side (screwed from the bottom up), which secure the corners to the fenders.
-with an assistant, tear the corners off the latches in the fenders and pull the bumper off the guides towards you.
-if there are headlight washers, disconnect the hoses from the nozzles. To prevent the liquid from leaking onto the ground, you need to prepare a suitable container or plug.

-remove the connector from the parking sensors (if any).
-remove the connector from the fog lights (if any).

Rear bumper





-in the trunk, remove the rear panel trim.
-unscrew the screws and nuts under the trim.
-unscrew the screws in the wheel arches and pull out the pins.
-move the mudguards to the side and unscrew one screw on each side (screwed from the bottom up), which secure the corners to the fenders.

-pull out the pins and unscrew the screws along the perimeter at the bottom (inserted and screwed from the bottom up).
-with an assistant, release the bumper from the latches in the fenders and pull it off the guides towards you.

-remove the connector from the license plate light.
-if there is a parking sensor, remove the connector.
