How to remove the front and rear bumper VW Touareg (2002-2010)

In TOUAREG before 2006, you first need to remove the radiator grille, after 2006, the grille is removed together with the bumper.
Before 2006.
- using a thin screwdriver, remove the emblem from the radiator grille (you need to pry it from below).
- unscrew the screw under the emblem.
- using a flat screwdriver, release the upper part of the grille from the four latches.
- use your finger to unlock the four latches at the bottom and remove the radiator grille towards you.
- unscrew the three screws under the radiator grille and one in each corner near the headlights.
- unscrew the four screws in the front lower part.
- turn the wheels to the side depending on which side you will disassemble first.
- in the wheel arches, unscrew the screws that secure the fenders and bumper.
- with an assistant, release the bumper from the latches under the headlights and pull it forward from the guides.
After 2006.
- under the hood, unscrew the six screws (screwed from top to bottom).
- turn the wheels to the side depending on which side you will disassemble first.
- in the wheel arches, unscrew the screws that secure the mudguards and the bumper, move the mudguards to the side and unscrew one screw in each upper corner (screwed from the bottom up).
- unscrew the screws in the lower part (screwed from the bottom up).
- unscrew the screws in the corners of the central decorative grille.
- with an assistant, pull the bumper forward from the guides.
For all years.
- remove the connector from the parking sensors (if any).
- remove the connector from the fog lights (if any).
- if there are headlight washers, you need to disconnect the hoses and close them with plugs so that liquid does not leak out of the tank.
Rear bumper
-in the trunk, remove the side trims (you need to get access to the back of the taillights).
-under the trims, unscrew the screws and remove the taillights.
-under the taillights, unscrew two screws on each side (screwed from top to bottom).
-unscrew the screws at the bottom (screwed from bottom to top).
-unscrew the screws in the wheel arches (in order not to remove the wheels, it is more convenient to unscrew with a ratchet with a nozzle).
-with an assistant, pull the bumper back from the side guides.
-remove the connectors from the lighting.
- remove the connector from the parking sensor (if there is one).
