How to remove the front and rear bumper of an Opel CORSA D (after 2006)

How to remove the front and rear bumper of an Opel CORSA D (after 2006)


The bumper is removed along with the radiator grille.
-under the hood, Unscrew the four screws that secure the radiator grille (twisted from top to bottom).
-turn the wheels to the left or right, depending on which side we will disassemble first.
-in the wheel arches, Unscrew the screws that secure the fender liners.
-unscrew the screws along the perimeter at the bottom and pull out the clip (twisted and inserted from bottom to top).

-with an assistant, release the corners from the latches in the wings and remove the bumper from the guides toward you.
-in the lower grille, remove the connector from the temperature sensor (if any).
-remove the connector from the fog lights (if equipped).
-if there are headlight washers, disconnect the hoses (to prevent the liquid from leaking onto the ground, you should prepare a special container).

Rear bumper




-open the trunk lid.
-open the hatches in the side trims.
-under the hatches, unscrew two plastic nuts and remove the rear lights.
-under the rear lights, release the clips.
-remove the license plate along with the frame.
-under the license plate, Unscrew the two screws.
-unscrew the screws and pull out the pistons at the bottom (twisted from bottom to top).

-Unscrew the screws in the wheel arches.
-with an assistant, release the latches in the wings, under the rear lights and in the trunk opening.
-remove the bumper from the guides toward you.
-remove the connector from the license plate light.
-remove the connector from the parking sensors (if equipped).
