How to remove the front and rear bumper of Volvo S70 V70 XC70 (1997-2000)

The bumper is removed along with the metal amplifier. We drill out rivets in the wheel arches (if any). We unscrew the two bolts that secure the metal amplifier to the side members (twisted from bottom to top). Unscrew the nuts and remove the headlight wipers (if equipped). With an assistant, we pull the bumper forward from the guides (be careful not to break the wires). We remove the connectors from the electrical equipment (if any).
Rear bumper
The rear one is attached in the same way as the front one. Drill out the rivets in the wheel arches (if any). From the bottom side, unscrew the two bolts that secure the bumper reinforcement to the side members. With an assistant, we pull the bumper back from the guides.
